I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Fondren Orthopedic, with rotator cuff surgery by Dr. Edwards a couple of years ago and now with osteoarthritis in my knee by Dr. Gombera. Everyone there sincerely cares about their patients and we are treated with the utmost professionalism and medical knowledge possible!

I really cannot say enough about Dr. Gombera and Fondren Orthopedic Group. From the office staff for my initial appointment, to the registration at the hospital yesterday morning. To the Nurse’s in the back in preop, Ms. Esther, PACU, Mr. Brad, and recovery and discharge, Shaneka. They were all so amazing. I strongly recommend Dr. Gombera. I’ll be so glad to get my hip healed and be able to walk without any pain. And I know that Dr. Gombera made this happen!!

I started seeing Dr Gombera at Texas Orthopedics Hospital last year. I am completely satisfied with the care. He started with physical therapy to see if that would help, but it did not. So in December of 2023 I had shoulder surgery to repair several different issues with my shoulder. Everything went well and I am now recovering. Dr Gombera is personable and of course knowledgeable about my injury and the course of action to correct. I would definitely recommend both Dr Gombera and Texas Orthopedic Hospital for any orthopedic needs.
